State police and the FBI have made three arrests in connection with a Fourth of July homicide in Hamden. Officials are asking for the public's help locating an additional suspect.
Police say they found the body of 39-year-old Edward Brooks when they were called to the area of Wintergreen Avenue by residents who reported hearing an explosion.
Brooks' body was wrapped in a plastic garbage bag, had been shot several times and suffered trauma to his head, neck and torso.
Police are still trying to find 26-year-old Maurice Wearing of Kilborn Street in West Haven.
