Three suspects charged in a botched home invasion all faced a judge today.
Police in Weston say it was a brazen burglary attempt in the middle of the afternoon on a wealthy street.
The break-in happened just after 1 p.m. Wednesday on Hidden Spring Drive. The three would-be robbers did not expect to find the homeowner, who fought back.
Police say the owner ran the trio into the nearby woods. They were then able to capture all three suspects along Route 53.
Leequaje Jackson, 20, and Francis Tarik, 18, both face a long list of charges, including home invasion. Prosecutors say Tarik was already facing a larceny charge in Bridgeport. Jackson and Tarik were arraigned at Norwalk Superior Court today. They're both being held under $150,000 bond.
The third suspect is a 16-year-old teenager, but police say he may also be charged as an adult.
