An SUV slammed into a tow truck on I-95 north in Westport early Sunday morning, firefighters say.

Firefighters say they were providing protection to a tow truck who responded to a single-car crash when the second crash happened just a few feet from them.

They say the SUV was speeding when it struck the truck. The SUV was towing a trailer.

Firefighters say the crash caused significant damage to both vehicles.

No one was injured.
