A custom T-shirt business in Bridgeport went out of business overnight, leaving customers in a lurch.Latosha Coplon, of Stamford, says on Monday Images Custom Air Brush on Main Street was fully functioning, with merchandise in the windows and all over the store. Coplon says she placed an order for 25 shirts and paid a $100 deposit. She came in the next day with another $70 and the design for the shirts. When she went to pick up her order on Thursday, the store was shuttered.
According to the store's owner, Marcus Robinson, all of his customers, except Coplon, knew he was moving. He says it was even posted on his MySpace.com page.
By late friday morning, the owner called Coplon and delivered part of the order. Coplon says many of the sizes were wrong, but she didn't complain. The owner said he'd complete the rest in time for the party.
