Three teenagers are facing charges Wednesday in connection to a string of car break-ins.
Police in Shelton said they worked with police in Seymour, Waterbury, Orange and Milford to link the juveniles to numerous car burglaries.
They said they were able to make the arrests after they ran the license plate of a vehicle in Waterbury and discovered it was stolen.
"People woke up to find electronics, change and other miscellaneous items missing," says Chris Nugent, of the Shelton Police Department.
Milford police said they are not sure if the suspects arrested Wednesday are connected to a string of break-ins reported last week. They said 24 cars were broken in to March 20.
Police also said Wednesday that more arrests could be possible.
