The Rotary Club of Stratford hosted its annual Main Street Festival Saturday.
The event was cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and returned in 2021 with social distancing rules in place.
The festival featured artisans businesses, food trucks, games and rides.
Over 160 local businesses lined the street this year.
Small business owner Robin Munley said festivals like these are her livelihood.
Munley creates and sells jewelry and is still recovering financially from the pandemic and the loss of her husband who helped run the business.
Like many other local businesses, Munley said festivals like this help them get back on their feet. And with the thousands of people that came out to support, it brings the community together.
The Club uses the funds they raise from the festival to invest back into the community.
