Members of a Fairfield musical program are preparing for a major fundraising effort to find a permanent facility.
St. Timothy's Church in Fairfield is the temporary home for the Broadway Method Academy, a musical theater program for high school students.
Academy officials say students learn the three most important aspects of performing arts -- singing, acting and dancing. Teachers include active Broadway performers from major shows like "Les Mis."
Next week, the school's students and professional mentors will perform a benefit concert at the Fairfield Theater Company to try and raise money for a permanent facility.
The benefit concert for Broadway Method Academy will be held Monday, Nov. 16 at Fairfield Theater Company.
