A third teen involved in last month?s fatal crash behind the Connecticut Post Mall died Friday.
Michael Vicino, 16, had been hospitalized since the February crash that killed his two friends. He died Friday morning at Bridgeport Hospital of his injuries.
Vicino was in the passenger seat of the Nissan Feb. 11 when the driver, Shawn Foley, tried to pass a car, lost control of the vehicle and smashed into a pole. Foley and another passenger, Jonathan Dolceaqua, were killed.
Vicino?s family says the teen fought hard the month he was in the hospital, even managing to talk at one point.
?He's such a great boy. The biggest, biggest heart,? his aunt, Lisa Rogers, said. ?He was kind to everybody. He wouldn't hurt anybody.?
Milford police are still trying to learn the exact details of the crash. Funeral services for Vicino will be held early next week at St. Gabriels in Milford.
