College dorm rooms are filling up across the country as record numbers of students head back to school.
"I'm excited," incoming Sacred Heart freshman Ella Strober said. "Definitely a little nervous, but excited."
Nearly 1,500 first-year students are moving into four different dorm halls on Sacred Heart's campus this weekend.
Dean of Students Denise Tiberio says fraternities, sororities and sports teams volunteered to help freshmen make the move.
"This community is a really special place, and I think the students that come here really feel that," said Tiberio.
Sacred Heart's first day of class is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 26
