A deadly storm in the middle of the country caused thousands of delays at airports all over the nation.
There were more than 2,800 flights canceled Monday and 4,800 others delayed due to the storm that battered Texas and the Midwest.
Airline officials urge those traveling Tuesday to continue to check with their airline.
Most of the delays were in the Midwest, especially Chicago due to winter weather, and in tornado-damaged Dallas.
