Thousands of people turned out in Bridgeport Saturday for free food in the city's East End.
The Farm to Family Giveaway at Wade's Dairy offered fresh produce, milk, eggs and yogurt for people who stopped by.
The event was organized by Harry Bell of The Color A Positive Thought book initiative.
The next food giveaway will be next Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Wade's Dairy on Barnum Avenue.
