Thousands of Connecticut residents are without power Monday after several strong storms ripped through the area overnight.
Eversource reports that more than 20,000 customers are in the dark.
United Illuminating reports just a couple hundred outages.
The storm hit 60 mph winds in some areas and left damage around the state.
A tree fell overnight in Stamford near West Hill Circle, and in Wilton, power lines were knocked down and caught on fire on Black Alder Lane.
