Tiger Woods was at the Travelers Championship in Cromwell on Tuesday – marking his first public appearance since his DUI arrest and rollover car crash on March 27 in Florida.

Woods did not play in the tournament’s 15 ½ challenge of the day.

He spoke for a short time at TPC River Highlands, but did not address his arrest. Instead, he focused on the tournament and reacted to the announcement of future changes within the PGA Tour.

"This work was never about any one player or person. It was about bringing together different perspectives, having honest, hard conversations and thinking boldly about what is best for the game that we all love,” said Woods. "I'm proud of the work we've done, and I'm grateful to everyone who has contributed along the way."

Woods has pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges.

The case is ongoing.
