A tractor-trailer fire closed a section of the southbound lanes of I-95 near Exit 9 in Stamford this morning.

The crash happened around 5:54 a.m. between Exit 9 on and the off-ramp. 

Officials with State Police Troop G say the right and center lanes were closed.

State Department of Transportation traffic cameras show the truck accident that involved a tractor-trailer.

Heavy fire and smoke could be seen coming from the site of the crash.

State police say no injuries are being reported at this time.
