A truck and a MTA bus collided at Westchester and Zerega avenues around 12:30 p.m. today.
Two people were taken to a hospital as a result of the collision, which occurred near the Bx4 stop. The bus driver's side window was also cracked.
Riders on the Bx4 bus said they were frightened when they felt the impact from a green Mack truck.
Traffic was backed up on Westchester Avenue for at least an hour because of the collision. Cars were forced to turn around while the bus and truck blocked the road.
Police said that both vehicles sideswiped each other and no one is to blame. An MTA official also said that buses were detoured for about an hour.
