Trumbull Health Department hosted its third annual Public Health Cupcake Wars at Trumbull Senior Center this morning.

Children in kindergarten through 8th grade were asked to decorate two cupcakes in a “save the environment theme.”

Kids also learned the importance of public health and were taught how to properly wash their hands.

Awards were given in each age group for presentation and originality.
