Two people are facing charges after Trumbull police found a gun and multiple drugs in their car.
Police said the incident happened on Sunday.
Officers responded to an occupied vehicle parked at the Marriott on Hawley Lane.
Valerie Fleurimont, 29, of Trumbull, and Shaun Reed, 37, of Bridgeport, were carrying multiple narcotics inside the car, including heroin, oxycontin pills and cocaine.
Police also found a silver handgun next to one of the suspects.
Officials said Reed is a convicted felon and is ineligible to possess a firearm, and Fleurimont does not have a permit to carry pistols.
Fleurimont was held on a $75,000 bond, while Reed was held on a $100,000 bond.
Both suspects are scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on Nov. 28.
