Two barbers are being hailed as heroes for rescuing a toddler who nearly ran into a busy intersection in East Hartford.
Video of the incident shows the young girl running past the Look Sharp Barbershop and making her way toward the main road.
The two barbers dropped their scissors, ran out the door and scooped the girl up before she could reach the intersection.
Authorities say the girl had slipped away from her mother at a nearby bus stop. The two have since been reunited.
East Hartford police say they are grateful for the actions of the two barbers.
