UConn students celebrated the basketball team’s arrival after winning a second straight National Championship.
Fans and students waited outside the Gampel Pavilion on Tuesday for the team’s arrival.
The celebration started Monday around 11:30 p.m. and carried over into Tuesday morning.
University officials say damages were minor compared to last year.
UConn police made five arrests.
In 2023, students caused $125,000 in damages and there were 39 arrests.
