Fairfield fire officials say one person is recovering after a fire erupted on Jennings Road.
Officials say they received a call from a neighbor who heard a smoke detector go off in an upstairs apartment yesterday afternoon.
They say firefighters found a man unconscious on the second floor of the building and sent him to the hospital.
