A fundraising effort has been launched to help the family of a man who was fatally shot in Bridgeport ship his body back to his native China.
Authorities say Flushing resident Jiabin Lin, 36, was fatally shot while delivering Chinese food at Palisade and Boston avenues.
His employer started a GoFundMe in the hopes of raising money to send Lin’s body to his family in China.
Police say 17-year-old Bridgeport resident Justin Castro is behind bars on a $3 million bond in connection to the killing. Two other suspects are also currently being sought by authorities.
