A strike has been averted at a health care facility in Westport.
The union representing nurses at St. Vincent's Behavioral Health Center says a new agreement was reached with Hartford HealthCare Thursday.
The union says the new deal makes major changes to the policies concerning mandatory overtime, which had become the sticking point of ongoing negotiations.
