United Airlines is
pausing service at John F. Kennedy International Airport at the end of October.
The announcement
comes just weeks after the airline threatened to pull service if the Federal
Aviation Administration did not give it
additional slots.
The airline says the halt in service is
temporary and won't say how long it will last.
Customers who have
tickets on the airline involving the airport after Oct. 29 will be re-booked.
United Airlines
resumed service to the airport in March 2021 following a five-year hiatus.
