Victim identified in deadly Waterbury fight

Waterbury police have identified the victim in Saturday night’s deadly fight.
They say 57-year-old Ricardo Maldonado of Waterbury was killed by Kendren Barnes after the two fought at a home on Grove Street.
Police say both men had wounds inflicted by an “edged weapon.”
Barnes was arrested and charged with murder on Monday.
Authorities say he has a violent history with a criminal record.
He was given a bond of $2.5 million.
