Waterbury man charged with murder used 'edged weapon' in fight
Police say one person died after a fight involving a weapon on Grove Street Saturday night.

A Waterbury man has been charged with murder following a deadly fight that happened over the weekend.
Police say Kendren Barnes was taken into custody Monday and turned over to court officials on a $2.5 million bond.
Officers say they responded to a fight on Grove Street around 7 p.m. on Saturday.
Two men with injuries were taken to hospitals, where one later died. In a release, police said the two "sustained wounds that were indicative of being inflicted by an edged weapon."
Police say Barnes has a violent history with an arrest record.
