Bridgeport police are searching for the two men seen in surveillance video of an armed robbery.

Officers say it happened Tuesday night at the Bangla Bazar at 1218 State St.

The video shows two suspects arriving at the store on their bikes and entering. Store manager Abul Khail says that when he asked the men to uncover their faces, one man pulled out a gun, jumped up onto the counter and waved the weapon in his face.

Khail says he opened the register and the gunman took out the money.

The second suspect then leaned over the counter and started taking the change out of the register. They also got away with cigarettes and several hookahs.

Khail says he may have seen the suspects before, perhaps as customers in the store.

Police are asking anyone with information on the suspects call them immediately.
