Vigil held for 34-year-old Bridgeport man fatally shot on New Year's Day

Family members held a vigil Thursday for a South African immigrant who was fatally shot on New Year's Day.
Njabulo Ntshakala's family says he was a hardworking deliveryman for PC Richard & Sons and was well-known in the community for being deeply devoted to the city he called home for most of his life.
Police say the 34-year-old was shot to death on Logan Street Jan. 1.
His family says he was a beloved member of the community who came to Bridgeport from South Africa as a child, as his family sought a better life in the U.S.
Police say 46-year-old Kevin Williams was charged and placed under a $1 million bond.
Ntshakala's family says he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
They say he often spoke about how fortunate he was to go to college in New York and to have a family in the United States.
