Violent night in Bridgeport has police asking for public’s help

Police are asking the public to call them with any information about these incidents at 203-576-TIPS.

At least three violent incidents in Bridgeport overnight have authorities asking for the public’s help.
One person was taken to the hospital after being shot in the area of Taylor Drive. That victim is expected to survive.
Just before 1 a.m., first responders were called to help an unconscious, bleeding man believed to have been robbed and assaulted on Washington Avenue near Park Avenue.
Just before 2 a.m., a man was stabbed in his face and neck on Wordin Street. He is expected to be OK.
