A final salute for a Connecticut State Trooper killed in the line of duty last week was held Thursday in East Hartford.
Trooper First Class Kevin Miller died one week ago when his cruiser hit the back of a slow moving truck on I-84 in Tolland.
Officials say his body was moved from a funeral home in Stafford Springs to Rentschler Field in East Hartford.
A procession of state police motorcycles and cruisers followed the hearse.
His funeral will be held Friday.
Trooper Miller leaves behind a wife and a son.
