Greenwich health officials are asking residents to take precautions after mosquitoes in the town tested positive for the West Nile virus.
Health officials say residents should use bug repellant, wear long sleeves and get rid of any standing water on their property.
Robert Farfaglia, supervisor of the environmental health division of the Greenwich Department of Health, says the town is taking action and will be treating catch basins next week with larvacide.
