A seven-month drug investigation in Torrington has yielded an arrest after a woman fatally overdosed.
Daniel Rivera, 24, of Waterbury, is charged with selling heroin.
Police say they have investigated River undercover, making controlled drug purchases from him until they issued a warrant for his arrest.
They say he initially fled arrest, but eventually turned himself in early March.
Police found 510 bags of heroin in his car.
Rivera is being held on $2 million bail.
