Workers power washed the Downtown Macy’s building in Stamford Tuesday – a happy result for a music producer in the city that made the beautification of the building his personal quest.

Mike Squires took to TikTok and Instagram to talk about the building that was covered with black algae.

"We made it happen. We're on site right now," said Squires. "B3 Powerwashing is getting this Macy's cleaned right now as we speak."

Squires was featured on News 12 on Monday.
