The falling economy has forced shoppers to cut back on spending, but retailers want to bring more customers in.
Sales reports form March, show weak sales in comparison to prior months, forcing retailers to rethink their business strategies. Many are offering big discounts to lure shoppers back into their stores.
Custom Airbrush Boutique is one retailer that is offering sales to attract customers.
"The sales are your best bet for instance, instead of buying a pair of sneakers for $100, you go to a sale and get them like two for $100," shopper Anthony McKenzie said.
