The heat is rising across New Jersey, with temperatures reaching the 90s on Friday.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Dave Curren says this weekend will see some rainstorms, but he says that the Fourth of July weekend won’t be a total washout.
WHAT’S NEXT: Temperatures rising to the upper-80s and low-90s over the next few days. Rainstorms expected this weekend.
OVERNIGHT: Mostly clear skies, temperatures dip to the upper-60s.
FRIDAY: Temperatures rise to around 92 degrees. A mix of sun and clouds. Overnight temperatures dip to the low-70s.
SATURDAY: Thunderstorms and rain expected Saturday, but the day is not expected to be a complete washout. Daytime highs around 90 degrees, with overnight lows around 72.
SUNDAY: Cloudy skies, with some sunshine peeking through. Passing rain possible. Daytime highs around 86 degrees – overnight lows around 70.
FOURTH OF JULY: Mostly sunny skies with daytime highs around 85 degrees. Temperatures dip to the upper-60s overnight.
