Wind speeds will not be strong enough to directly impact the passing or kicking game. Look for both teams to air it out to their star receivers. Overview: The weather in Buffalo will see little issues though it is not perfect football weather. It is unlikely there will be any weather delays as these two teams face off in this week 8 match up. Bring a light jacket but it will not be necessary to carry rain gear.

New York Jets (3-3) at New York Giants (1-5) in MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ Sunday 1 p.m. Forecast: Skies will be mostly cloudy and mild with scattered showers and a slight breeze. Weather will have minor impacts on player performance. However, the rain may discourage a heavy passing game for these two teams. Temperatures: In the middle 60s. Winds: NE 5-10 MPH Fantasy Owners: It will be a wet game as these two New York teams face off for their first regular season game against each other. Winds will clock near 10 mph. However, it will likely be a wet game with light to moderate rain showers at MetLife Stadium. Expect not a huge passing game from either team. For the kickers, there will likely be minor impact from the weather in this game. Overview: Another week of suboptimal weather for the Giants and Jets. Prepare to tailgate with some raingear but at least it will not be a very chilly game.

New England Patriots (2-5) at Miami Dolphins (5-2) in Hardrock Stadium, Miami Gardens, FL Sunday 1 p.m. Forecast: Mostly sunny skies with spotty showers and thunderstorms throughout the afternoon and evening. The wind will be breezy. Low confidence in any weather delay or impacts on player performance. Temperatures: In the middle 80s. Winds: SW 15-20 MPH Gusts: near 30 MPH Fantasy Owners: Erratic Florida weather will highlight this Sunday football matchup. Good news is there is low confidence that the possible thunderstorms will cause any weather delays. Winds will be a bit breezy, however, not expecting major impacts for kickers or quarterbacks during this matchup. Overview: This AFC East matchup will be the second of the season between the two division rivals. After galling to the Dolphins in Week 2 of the regular season, the Patriots will look to carry the momentum after their win against their other divisional rival, the Buffalo Bills, from last Sunday. If you are traveling for the game be prepared for Florida’s October warmth and humidity. There are opportunities for on and off showers/thunderstorms, but many periods will remain dry throughout the game. Be mindful of the breezy conditions that could gust near 30 mph.
