Two teens were arrested Friday for their involvement in several car thefts, West Haven police said.
Police were first notified that an Audi was stolen in Woodbridge and was headed toward New Haven.
They say 20 minutes later, a black Cadillac was stolen from Noble Gas Station on Boston Post Road while a person was pumping gas.
Police say the Cadillac was driven to Saw Mill Road where it hit another vehicle. Those inside the stolen Cadillac were picked up by the stolen Audi.
Police were able to able to track the Audi to a southbound rest stop on I-95, where Milford police and state police stopped it.
Two 14-year-olds were arrested. One of them had a handgun, police say.
Police are reminding people to be aware of their surroundings especially at gas stations, where there has been an uptick in thefts. Drivers also should not pump gas while their cars are running.
