The Weston community is mourning the death of a Weston High School graduate and Boston Marathon bombing survivor who died in a car crash overseas.
Victoria McGrath, who graduated in 2011 and attended Northeastern University, died while on a trip in Dubai over the weekend.
McGrath's friend who accompanied her on the trip, Priscilla Perez-Torrez, also died in the crash.
As News 12 reported, McGrath sustained a severe leg injury during the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013.
Weston High School Principal Lisa Deorio says she remembers McGrath as a sweet, sensitive and resilient girl.
McGrath was preparing to graduate from Northeastern's business school later this spring.
