A trailer fire was quickly put out Tuesday at a transfer station in Westport.

The Westport Fire Department said employees noticed smoke coming from a trailer loaded with trash.

Crews arrived fast and extinguished the flames.

No nearby buildings were damaged, and no injuries were reported.
