The Westport Library held an event on Thursday to promote diverse entrepreneurship.
The event was hosted by Startup Westport and the Westport 10.
Organizers said the goal was to inspire entrepreneurs from all backgrounds.
"What I hope people get out of this is knowledge and information. We created the Westport 10 to share ideas and share our culture," said Jay Norris, CEO of Guesst and Blacklight.
Panelists spoke about their past experiences as business owners and gave advice and mentorship to future entrepreneurs.
The StartUp Westport will also host a Female Founders and Investors event on March 18 at the Westport Library.
