A Westport man admitted to a scheme that netted him more than $2 million.
Mitchell Green plead guilty to defrauding an alcohol company he worked for by overcharging them for champagne and cognac and collecting kickbacks based on the inflated prices.
Prosecutors say Green negotiated a side deal with the distillery and then hid his fees in the price per bottle that was charged to his employer.
He's set to be sentenced in January.
