Police say they received a call from someone who had claimed he'd broken into a home, shot someone and was about to kill himself.

Westport police are looking into a swatting incident that happened Saturday evening on Red Coat Road.
Police say they received a call from someone who had claimed he'd broken into a home, shot someone and was about to kill himself.
Officers say when they arrived at the house, they saw people walking around inside the house inconsistent with the call.
They say the homeowner then arrived.
Officers say they were able to confirm the call had been a hoax.
No one was injured or shot.
