The owners of some of the area's historic homes are preparing for the Westport Historical Society's annual Holiday House Tour, which kicks off this weekend.
Sam and Sharon Carpenter have opened their 1877 home for the event before. It's one of six on this year's list.
Cheryl Elliot's home is also a destination, although she's only lived in it for five years.
For her first time showing it off, she placed eight Christmas trees throughout the house, each with a different theme.
The tour takes place Sunday, but the Westport Historical Society is hosting its holiday soiree Friday night.
Tickets are still available for both events.
