Westport teen Rebecca Webster wins 'Hit like a Girl' global drumming competition
A 15-year-old girl from Westport is getting global recognition for her skills playing the drums. Rebecca Webster was named the under 18 winner in a global drumming competition called "Hit Like a Girl."

A 15-year-old girl from Westport is getting global recognition for her skills playing the drums.
Rebecca Webster was named the under 18 winner in a global drumming competition called "Hit Like a Girl."
She also just wrapped up touring this summer with the national School of Rock All-Star Band.
Rebecca says you won't find her musical inspiration on any album covers or stadium tours. She says it was her grandmother who took up the drums at the age of 50.
Maida Webster says she noticed her granddaughter's talent when Rebecca was less than 2-years-old.
