A Westport teenager created artificial snow on his front lawn this weekend to compensate for winter's unseasonably warm temperatures. Scott Pecoriello, 15, is using a snow machine he received as a Christmas gift to transform the look of his home on Broadview Road. He says it was finally cold enough to use it, and that he wanted to show friends and neighbors that he could create his own microclimate. The Staples High School freshman says he has been a weather fanatic for years, and has published a weather blog since the age of 12.
