The recent wet weather caused problems for a Little League team in Claremont Park Monday.
The team's coach says he and his team were told by the Parks Department that the rain made the field they hoped to play on unsafe.
He says the field's gate was locked upon arrival and that he waited for two hours before receiving the bad news.
Parents say this isn't the first time this has happened. They claim the field has been closed seven times recently due to wet weather.
News 12 reached out to the Parks Department but has yet to hear back.
