This week's "What's Ailing You" looks at New Year's fitness resolutions.
Nutritionists and doctors tells News 12 Connecticut that you must be specific and realistic for the resolutions to stick. Resolutions to generally "work out every day" or "eat healthy" usually don't work, they say.
"Keeping track is everything, it's the accountability," says Dr. Brian Sheets, of Wilton-based Medi-Weightloss.
One weight loss tip is to prepare food at home. It gives you a better handle on the ingredients, portions, calories and fat intake.
