(01/06/06) GREENWICH ? The wife of a Greenwich man who went missing aboard his honeymoon cruise hopes a world-renowned forensic scientist can shed light on her husband's disappearance.
Dr. Henry Lee says he?s got his work cut out for him in the George Smith case. In addition to the lack of a body, Lee says cruise personnel have cleaned certain parts of the ship that need to be examined. According to Lee, the amount of time that has passed since the disappearance poses another obstacle.
Lee, who was hired a month ago, says he won?t know how much evidence he has to work with until he boards the boat. No timeline for his arrival on the ship has been set. Lee hopes his investigation will bring a measure of closure to the missing man?s family.
