Friends, family and athletes came together today for the ninth annual and final Britton John Broatch Memorial Wiffle Ball Tournament at Foran High School in Milford. The tournament raised about $40,000 for an endowment fund for a scholarship in Broatch's name. The Milford native died of a massive stroke in 2003 at the age of 25. The endowment will go to a Joseph A. Foran High School senior who has a good academic record and is involved in sports.
