Strong wind returns Friday, additional power outages possible

STORM WATCH: Wild winds and dry for Halloween

Halloween will be a dry and partly sunny day with whipping winds. The storm will move well north of us Friday but this will create an even tighter pressure gradient and bring those winds right back.

Halloween will be a dry and partly sunny day with whipping winds.
The storm will move well north of us Friday but this will create an even tighter pressure gradient and bring those winds right back.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Fairfield and Litchfield counties. Gusts will range from 40-45 mph for Fairfield County and up to 50 mph for Litchfield.
Make sure everything is still secure outside your home, including holiday decorations.
Quieter and sunnier weather returns for a few days. Temperatures will be seasonable. There is a risk of some rain again early next week.
