Wilton authorities are praising a 911 dispatcher for how she handled last week's homicide. The call indicated Ed Ramsey, 73, was not moving in a pool of blood in his Signal Hill Road home. His wife said in the call that her son Aaron Ramsey, who has now been charged with killing his father, was nowhere to be found and that he was possibly on drugs or psychotic. Authorities say the calm and controlled police work done by the 911 operator was significant in finding the suspect and dispatching help to the victim.Although authorities won't say who the dispatcher is, they say she's a civilian dispatcher who has been doing this for Wilton police for several years.
